The transport sector and the specialized vehicle industry are experiencing exceptionally dynamic growth, primarily due to technological advancements. In response to these changes, supporting young people who will serve the industry as qualified specialists in the future is crucial. For this reason, we are once again participating in the National Mechanics Championships, supporting, among others, the Young Truck Mechanic category, as well as a new competition category – Young Special Vehicle Mechanic.
For many years, we have been developing the heavy-duty segment in Poland as one of the leading distributors of spare parts for trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, delivery vehicles, and construction and agricultural machinery. Our participation in the 15th National Mechanics Championships represents not only expert support but also a genuine commitment to preparing future professionals for the transport industry. Modern trucks and special-purpose vehicles are technologically advanced designs equipped with advanced electronic systems, safety solutions, telematics , and fleet management tools . Working on such machines requires a mechanic to combine knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, and diagnostics, as well as data analysis skills. Importantly, similar skills are also essential today in the sales and selection of parts in automotive stores such as Autos. Effective customer advice relies not only on knowledge of the product range but also on an understanding of vehicle construction, the operation of electronic systems, and the proper matching of components to the specific vehicle configuration.
" The truck and special vehicle segment currently requires a very high level of competence . We are especially pleased that the organizers have introduced a new category dedicated to special vehicles. After all, most of these machines are also heavy equipment , and it's hard to find greater enthusiasts of this segment than Autos. At the same time, we want to show young people that this is an area offering extensive development opportunities and a stable career path, " emphasizes Jolanta Stępień, Marketing Director at Autos. " A modern truck mechanic or parts sales specialist is someone who understands electronic systems, can work with technical documentation, and consciously select service solutions. In practice, this means the need for continuous skill development and a comfortable navigation in the world of modern technology. Both service employees and parts sales personnel must be able to interpret manufacturer specifications and accurately respond to customer needs."

The truck and special vehicle industry needs well-trained professionals – both in workshops, within parts distributors, in technical departments, and in fleet maintenance. During the National Mechanics Championships, we want to show participants that knowledge acquired in school and during internships can lead to many different career paths. In tasks related to truck and special vehicles, Autos experts will focus on practical aspects of working in the industry, such as proper parts selection, fault diagnosis, analysis of technical documentation, and knowledge of the specifics of commercial vehicle operation. The company will also continue to promote the #PracujInaczej (#WorkDifferent) concept – a project showing students of mechanical schools that a career in the automotive industry doesn't have to be limited to work in a workshop. Alternatively, they can develop as a parts sales or workshop equipment specialist.

" We are delighted that Autos is once again involved in the National Mechanics Championships and supporting the categories related to heavy goods vehicles and specialty vehicles. This is an area that requires extensive knowledge and responsibility, so the presence of such an experienced partner is crucial for the young participants. Thanks to Autos experts, they can see what it's like to work with solutions used in real-world heavy transport engineering ," says Adrian Dekowski, president of the V8 Team, co-organizer of the National Mechanics Championships. "In the face of growing technological demands and a shortage of qualified workers, collaboration between business and education is particularly important. Autos consistently demonstrates that the responsible involvement of industry companies can truly support the educational process and influence the development of the entire transport market."
Autos has been actively participating in the National Mechanics Championships for many years, supporting the development of young talent in the automotive industry and promoting modern technical competencies. This year's 15th anniversary edition of the event is a special opportunity to emphasize the importance of this initiative for the entire automotive community. Autos congratulates the organizers on the 15th anniversary of the Championships, appreciating their contribution to the development of technical education and building the prestige of the mechanic profession.
During the event, participants and guests will also be able to meet representatives of Autos at the stand located in Hall 4 during the Poznań Motor Show , where the company's experts will be happy to talk about development opportunities in the industry, modern solutions in the heavy duty segment and career paths in the area of sales and selection of automotive parts.
