The system combines, in one compact unit, an electronic control unit, sensor technology and pneumatic regulation. TEBS G2.2 can operate in trailers connected to towing vehicles equipped only with a pneumatic braking system together with an ABS or EBS system. Intelligent Leveling Control System iLvL is an electronically controlled air suspension system for trailers with a new concept of functionality and driver control. Regardless of the operating status, the system reacts within seconds when raising and lowering the trailer suspension. Even if the electric power is not available, the driver can still raise or lower the trailer using the pneumatic control buttons. The system also provides a simple possibility to program the suspension system, which in the case of conventional systems is complicated and often expensive.
It is one of the specialties of Knorr-Bremse, which also offers a special part solution for semi-trailers and trailers designed to reduce weight without compromising safety. First, based on the SK7 brake specifically for towed vehicles, and now the latest model ST7-430 has been added to the offer. Thanks to the optimization of the design of the caliper and pads, the weight has been reduced by about 4 kg. The ST7-430 is the lightest 22.5 inch twin piston disc brake on the market today.
