On February 6, 2024, an extraordinary journey began - the Educational Route of the Academy of Young Mechanics On Tour. This unique initiative, the finale of which was planned in Gdańsk, and its start took place in Grzegorz Duda's garage in Ryglice in southern Poland. The aim of the route was to connect mechanics enthusiasts and promote automotive knowledge. First of all, it is an innovative way to promote the Automotive Technology Fair, the MOVE Congress and the Poznań Motor Show, where the finals of the National Mechanics Championship will be held in April 2024.
The Autos company eagerly participated in this event. We were pleased to host a large team of co-organizers and other partners who visited our company's headquarters in Solec Kujawski on Thursday evening. During the late evening, a column of cars appeared, and among the passengers was the famous TV presenter and rally driver, Grzegorz Duda, along with the co-organizers of the Young Mechanic Academy. Despite an intense daily schedule, with undisguised curiosity the TVN TURBO star visited our main warehouse - the heart of our company, from where truck parts are delivered every day to 86 points of our network throughout Poland. The culmination of the intensive meetings was a joint dinner, during which conversations with representatives of our company lasted until late at night. On the next intensive day of the tour, in the early morning hours, numerous students of several local mechanical schools from Nakło, Bydgoszcz and Toruń arrived. On the spacious square in front of the main building, they had the opportunity to meet representatives of the automotive industry, including the well-known manufacturer of batteries and accumulators - Varta. The Pilea electric bus, designed by Polish designers using the latest technological solutions, and produced in the Bydgoszcz Industrial Park, also aroused great interest.
The automotive industry also means "beautifying" cars. The gathered students admired the car personalization skills presented by specialists from the Wrap Center, who turned cars into real works of art "live". Our rally drivers Tomek and Darek from the Kamena Rally Team were also present, proudly presenting their new rally vehicle, eagerly posing for photos, revealing their plans for the upcoming rally season.
A long-awaited moment for the gathered youth was a meeting with the TVN TURBO star, Grzegorz Duda, who warmed up emotions with his energy and charisma by proudly presenting his car straight from Duda Garage. Mr. Grzegorz willingly shared his automotive knowledge, giving autographs and posing for group photos.
The intense morning ended with a meeting of school students with representatives of our company, who proudly talked about the over 30 years of activity of Autos and the wide range of professional opportunities awaiting future generations in our company.
