Autos at the Motorshow in Poznań

This year's Motor Show in Poznań - the largest automotive event in the country is behind us. This is certainly a unique event for fans of motoring and everything related to it. For us, it was a time of intensive work, many meetings, but above all, support for the struggles of the 12th National Championships of Mechanics, in which mainly young mechanics from nearly 200 schools all over Poland joined the competition for the championship titles 7 in the following categories:

  • Young Mechanic
  • Electromobile
  • Young truck mechanic
  • Young Painter
  • Young Mechanic of Agricultural Machines
  • Professional Mechanic
  • Young Motorcycle Mechanic

The need to promote the trucking industry is one of the tasks we carry out during such meetings. During the Poznań Motor Show, our zone could be found not only in the hall of the Mechanics Championships, but also in hall no. 5, where Darek Baśkiewicz and Tomek Białkowski - the rally team - presented their vehicles and plans for the upcoming rally season, including participation in the Dakar Rally 2024 Kamena Rally Team. Together with us in the #NasiNaDakar project, they promoted their participation in this most famous rally in the world. However, our presence at this event resulted primarily from the desire to support young adepts of automotive schools. Because we know the value of well-qualified staff, we decided to rejoin the National Championships of Mechanics after the break and promote it #work.

Three days of struggle, education and fun, positive energy and great emotions - this is how this year's Championships can be described in a nutshell.

The competitions faced by the participants were prepared by our specialists and concerned the assembly of the compressor head of the pneumatic system and the diagnosis of faults using the Jaltest diagnostic computer. Everyone coped with the competitions, but apart from their proper course, it was also important to achieve the best possible time. Young mechanics, whose enthusiasm and determination were admirable, showed particularly great commitment and steadfastness. Participants showed very good preparation and a lot of knowledge. We hope that the prizes funded will help in developing these passions, i.e. training for the winners of the 1st place in the Young Truck Mechanic category and sets of power tools and accessories that went to all winners of the category we support. It is worth noting that the training is a reward not only for the winning team, but for all students of their school interested in participating and developing their passion. As the patron of this competition, we reminded everyone that a car mechanic is not only a passenger industry, but also a truck industry, which has great potential. That is why in our communication channels we promote this idea of #workdifferently. A well-qualified young mechanic or a mechanic with many years of experience is also an excellent material for a customer advisor, product manager or technical advisor in the field of e.g. workshop equipment. Substantive knowledge and practical knowledge of the functioning of the vehicle and the ability to select parts are great assets that can be turned into professional success by working not only in the workshop. Among our employees at all levels, including the management staff, there are many people whose education at the high school level was based on car schools. This gave them a basic knowledge and skills that they developed and use in their daily work, even though it is not directly related to work in the workshop.

We hope that during the next edition of the National Championships of Mechanics, the attendance will break new records and we will be proud to watch both professionals and young cadres that will soon join the labor market.
