Autos back in Frankfurt

Automechanika Frankfurt is a leading international automotive industry event, this year's edition was visited by 108,000 people from 172 countries, which confirmed the reputation and reach of the fair. On a huge area of 320,000 m², spread over 26 levels of exhibition halls, 4,200 companies from 80 countries presented their products and services.

The organizers and participants agree: this year's edition of the event was record-breaking in terms of the number of technological innovations presented. The motto for the entire event was "Driving Transformation", discussions were about digital transformation, sustainable mobility and artificial intelligence in the automotive industry.

We are regular participants of the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, and this year we were represented by a very strong team of 15 people. Hundreds of people passed through our stand, the coffee machine was working at full speed, and everyone's favorite fudge disappeared at lightning speed. We met our good friends-contractors, but we also established a number of new contacts that will open us up to new markets and new customers. We were also able to discover pioneering technologies, especially in the field of electrification, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance systems and digitalization. The innovation is impressive!

Driving Transformation

Detlef Braun, Member of the Management Board of Messe Frankfurt, impressed with the industry: " Despite the ongoing digital transformation, the industry once again presented a wealth of innovations, offering numerous attractions during the five-day event. Together with our exhibitors, we managed to find the right players to present the most important topics - including alternative drive systems, sustainability and the use of AI and robotics in the aftermarket - on stages and in the exhibition halls. We are also pleased about the growing interest from both German and international visitors," he emphasized.

Michael Johannes, Messe Frankfurt's Vice President for Mobility and Logistics, echoed his sentiments: "Never before has Automechanika Frankfurt had such an extensive accompanying programme and such a wide range of events. Our programme of presentations and workshops covered a wide range of topics, including bodywork and painting, electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, trailer repairs, 3D printing, detailing and many more. Professionals have very well received these proposals, and students and pupils have taken advantage of the opportunity to see what some of the professions in the automotive industry look like. One of the new elements of this year's edition was a programme and a zone dedicated specifically to Generation Z. We wanted to draw their attention to the career opportunities available in the fascinating world of motoring, which we have achieved with great success."
