In March, together with our clients, accompanied by ZF representatives, we went on a trip to Bremen in Germany.
The purpose of the visit was to visit the factory ZF Lemforder - the most popular brand of original steering and suspension components and a logistics center in Bremen, from where Lemförder products are distributed worldwide. Participants of the trip saw how modern and fully automated warehouses operated, among others, operate. by self-propelled carts, among which the fastest "pendulum carts" reach speeds of over 50 km/h. We had the opportunity to see the process of automated production for the 21st century, which ensures the highest quality of products.
In Dielingen, where the research and development center and one of the plants producing suspension and steering system components for passenger cars, vans, trucks, buses and construction and agricultural machines are located, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the production processes of individual parts, and qualified engineers from the Institute Research and development experts familiarized us with the most modern methods of testing parts in various conditions and "revealed" what innovations are being tested.
Thanks to the extensive knowledge and commitment of Polish representatives of ZF, the talks on the technology of the future in the automotive industry lasted long into the late evening hours at tables laden with traditional German dishes and a mug of refreshing beer straight from the Bremen brewery.
