The Polish national team during Euro 2016 provided all the fans with a lot of emotions. We witnessed beautiful goals, suspenseful penalties and unexpected twists. Poles played at the Euro until June 30, when they lost to Portugal in a penalty shoot-out for the quarter-finals. Despite this, they still achieved success, which has not been achieved by any other Polish team playing in this tournament. The time of sports events such as Euro 2016 is an opportunity for the Autos network to cheer together. This was also the name of the series of meetings between Autos branches and customers.
Sports events are a great opportunity to integrate and meet together. Therefore, together with partners, which in this edition were brands such as Bremann , Total , Mann Filter , Textar,Wabco, Black Iron , Fomar and ATP , we used the time of the championship to support the Polish national team. Polish matches were surprising. The first match against Northern Ireland ended with our win in the regular time, the next match was a goalless draw with Germany, which this time failed to score a goal. The winning match against Ukraine decided about advancing to the 1/8 finals. Another challenge was the match against Switzerland, which probably made many spectators' hearts beat faster, especially during the first penalty kicks in the history of the Polish National Team. The match against Portugal decided about advancing to the quarter-finals, which turned out not to be for us yet.
During the meetings, of course, the most important thing was the match, but apart from sports emotions, the guests also took part in competitions and prize draws funded by the organizer and project partners. This is the second edition of meetings under the slogan "Common cheering". Previously, such meetings took place in 2012 during the Euro held in Poland and Ukraine.
While cheering together, customers had the opportunity to show great support in Ełk, Kielce, Tomaszów Lubelski, Elbląg, Sokołów Podlaski, Włocławek, Gniezno, Kluczbork, Opole, Konin, Działdowo, Jarosław, Starogard Gdański, Rudzienice and Katowice.
