The 15th anniversary edition of the National Mechanics Championships demonstrated that the modern professional is a specialist engineer, operating at the intersection of mechanics and advanced electronics. Autos perfectly fits this technological landscape – a company that has not only been supplying the market with state-of-the-art spare parts and professional workshop equipment, but also actively mentoring participants. Thanks to Autos's technical and equipment support, the finalists were able to tackle the real challenges of the heavy-duty sector, working with components and tools that underpin the strength of a modern, safe workshop.
Standing on the threshold of revolution
From April 23rd to 26th, the halls of the Poznań International Fair became the arena for a competition that is to the automotive industry what the Olympic Games are to athletes. This marks the 15th anniversary of the project, which, year after year, is increasingly bridging the gap between textbook theory and practice.
This year's finals of the National Mechanics Championships were held under the telling slogan "a step into the future." The transportation industry is undergoing its greatest transformation in decades. The modern workshop is no longer just a pit and a set of wrenches, but above all, advanced computer diagnostics and the operation of complex safety systems. In the face of such changes, the Mechanics Championships are no longer just a competition, but a key investment in human resources. The TSL industry, the backbone of the Polish economy, needs these modern professionals more than ever. "Today's trucks are, in fact, packed with electronics, mobile data centers on wheels. Working on them requires a modern mechanic to possess hybrid skills: they must be half mechanical engineer, half IT and half electrical engineer," commented experts and event participants.
Autos' partnership in the truck category, as well as in a completely new category - Young Special Vehicle Mechanic - represents strategic support for young talents and shows that there is work not only in a workshop, but also in parts distribution networks such as ours.

The Autos stand, spanning over 100 square meters, was an exceptionally popular venue at the fair. The technical challenges, developed in collaboration with NRF, generated the most excitement – a spectacular radiator disassembly challenge and a dynamic tire change became the arena for fierce competition, attracting both professionals and mechanics enthusiasts. The main idea behind our participation in the fair was to promote the #workdifferently concept – we demonstrated that after graduating from automotive or mechanical engineering school, you don't have to limit yourself to working in a workshop. Alternative positions are also available at Autos, such as technical advisors and parts sales specialists. The knowledge acquired at the school is perfectly suited to these roles. An equally important highlight was the "Guess by Paw" competition. Competitors had to demonstrate their expert knowledge by identifying specific spare parts solely by touch.
Professional equipment from brands like Redmaster and DCK also attracted crowds, but above all, it was the lively interaction. Everyone had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the tools under the guidance of our specialists.
An impressive Scania in Autos livery, the show's mascot, proudly displayed at the entrance to the hall. The vehicle generated enormous interest, and visitors lined up to take souvenir photos with it.

Special guests at the Autos stand were representatives of the Kamena Rally Team, acting as ambassadors for the Silverlines brand. Driver Tomasz Białkowski and co-driver Dariusz Baśkiewicz, who made history by winning the 2026 Dakar Classic Rally in the truck classification, actively supported our team at the stand.
Alongside the champions, Polaris, an advanced UTV, made a magnificent display. While not the same vehicle they use to compete for top World Cup trophies, it was equally impressive. Participants could also compete against the champions and see how quickly they could change a tire. While it wasn't the same tire as the DAF 3300, the challenge was certainly not easy.

Under the watchful eye of teachers, two-person teams competed in the student categories, while experienced professionals battled for the podium in the Professional Mechanic category. Autos, as a partner of the event, awarded prizes in five categories. If you entrust your vehicle to one of these winners in the future, you can be sure you're in very good hands.
Here are the official results of the finals of the 15th National Mechanics Championships:
By awarding winners in five categories, Autos sent a clear message: the future of the industry depends on people. And judging by the enthusiasm of students from Krakow and Opole, we can rest assured about the condition of Polish highways and construction sites.
The company's commitment to educating young professionals was also recognized and appreciated by the Championship organizers. Autos received recognition for its active support of CSR activities. This distinction confirms that strategic support for young talent and building a knowledge base for future professionals is a fundamental part of the company's operations, extending far beyond the framework of a simple commercial partnership.
