On Friday, June 9, at the Autos headquarters in Solec Kujawski, another edition of the Autos Truck Day fair was held for the seventh time. From the beginning, the meeting is intended for Autos customers and is fully devoted to topics related to the truck industry. Every year, it is an opportunity to get acquainted with the range offered by exhibitors, new products and an opportunity for professional talks between exhibitors and customers.
This year's fair is over 60 brands and nearly 50 exhibitors. Each of them presented new products, leading products in its offer dedicated to the utility industry and new brands. The guests had the opportunity to see e.g. ECO Air COMPACT suspension presented by the BPW brand , steering systems presented by Bosch , a new line of Prime-Ride suspension cushions, a battery made in HVR technology, which is characterized by increased shock resistance presented by Exide and many others. The stand of the aforementioned BPW brand, which was located in Infomobil - the brand's demonstration vehicle, was also very popular. The impressive colossus serves primarily as a training center for anyone interested in the subject of BPW products. Infomobil visits Poland twice a year, all the more so its appearance at Autos Truck Day was a treat for guests. At the ZF stand, you could see a rich overview of the offer. Customers were able to learn more about the new Traxon gearbox, which is already used by some tractor manufacturers and is also available in a hybrid version. In addition, clutch kits with a dual-mass flywheel, self-adjusting clutches, a triangle wishbone on molecular bearings and TRW brake system components and steering gears were also on display.
Another attraction was the training, which this time took place during a ride in the iconic Jelcz bus, commonly known as the "cucumber". This year's meeting was held under the slogan "The time machine" and many elements, among others. the bus brought back old times. The program of the day, apart from industry topics, could not lack entertainment for the guests. Everyone willing could take part in the "Start Pewexu Wart!" competition, where ten participants with the best results in individual sports and skill competitions received drones as prizes. Participants competed, among others. on the go-kart track and on crazy carts, they struggled with traps on the obstacle course, they tested their coordination in practice by tackling the anti-twist bike and recalled their childhood times by breaking new records in the backyard games zone.
The whole event, as in previous years, was hosted by Aleksandra Kutz, known from TVN and TTV television, who attended the ATD fair for the fifth time, but this year she was supported by Adam Kornacki - a former racing driver and automotive journalist known from the TVN Turbo antenna.
The second part of the meeting began with the awarding of prizes to the winners of the competition "Start Pewexu Wart!" and Lotteries. After the physical struggle, it was time for delicious refreshments, which were prepared by the team of the Autos Restaurant and satisfied the palates of all guests. The artistic decoration of the evening was the performance of the Jurki cabaret, which not only made the audience laugh to tears, but also established an extraordinary interaction with the guests. A musical feast was certainly the concert of the Dżem band, which literally captivated the audience by playing well-known hits. The evening ended with a fireworks display.
