The NEXUS Automotive International purchasing group has achieved a cumulative global turnover of €10 billion. Nexus is already present in over 100 countries, and one of the group's members is also Autos.
Leading aftermarket group NEXUS Automotive International continues its global growth and achieves record consolidated turnover of €10 billion. The result obtained is €1 billion better than the expectations presented in February, when it was planned to reach the level of €9 billion by the end of 2016.
This major success was announced by Nexus Automotive CEO Gael Escribe to affiliated companies from over 100 countries during a two-day meeting ahead of Automechanika Frankfurt. The Group wants to become a leader on the global aftermarket market, and the high turnover achieved after only two and a half years of presence on the market is an important step in this direction. This result was achieved only thanks to the joint efforts of all members.
Soon, Nexus is opening its representative office in China, where it intends to establish even closer cooperation with local group members and suppliers from this region. Autos has been a member of the Nexus Automotive International purchasing group since January 1, 2015.
Currently, Nexus brings together 121 distributors from around the world. Such a partnership is an excellent springboard for, for example, expansion into new markets, especially considering the fact that the Export Department is already very dynamic in the Autos network, which permanently cooperates with customers in Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Among foreign contractors there are also customers from Greece, Turkey, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, as well as from Arab countries and India.
