We are pleased to present to you another, limited edition of the Autos calendar.
The invitation to travel is not accidental because each card is a different city, a different country, and even a different continent. Each month is also a different model. The inspiration was a journey from the driver's point of view, sensitive to female beauty and the world around him.
- I saw Finan at the station. Leaning against the wall, headphones in my ears, and my attention focused on her, and she staring at the phone, wearing a characteristic hat that I found extremely cute. Approach, accost, ask for photos... Maybe I'll scare her. If she looks my way… And she looked…
- Exotic beaches of Haiti, a terrace suspended on thick wooden stilts, me and Staycy. Above our heads, palm trees, a view of a warm, colorful ocean, a beach white as spilled flour and a long tongue of coral reef, beyond which the great blue began. Stacey took off her blouse and… I couldn't decide which view was more beautiful.
- My first contact with her was on Instagram. A short exchange. She also travels, she writes that she comes from Sri Lanka, but she is on the road all the time. September, I'm going to smoke a cigarette in Amsterdam. And so, a few days later, she is standing in front of my camera in the urban heart of the Netherlands.
The main narrator is the author of photos for the calendar, who has been Tomasz Tomkowiak, a photographer from Poznań, for several years. Winner of the VIVA Award! Photo Awards 2018 in the reportage category, winner of the international competitions PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and International Photo Awards. Winner of the first place in the Photo Erotica competition organized by the Polish edition of Playboy. He publishes e.g. in: VIVA, COSMOPOLITAN, ELLE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, TRAVEL, EXPLORE THE WORLD, TRAVELER, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC.
In the new calendar, the photos are kept in black and white, but for the first time they have been enriched with color graphics. The colors on a given card are mainly determined by its patron supplier. This year, ATP , Black Iron , Bosch , Bremann, DT, Exide , febi , Frimatec , Monroe Magnum , Total and ZF appeared among them. The author of the graphics is Tomasz Bartz, an artist-graphic artist, a musician of the band Dubska on a daily basis, who poured his musical tastes into the pages of our calendar.
As in previous years, this is a limited edition. We hope that these 12 cards will accompany you next year and will be an inspiration for your travels.
