Armstrong Tires was founded in 1912 by George F. Armstrong, who started it in a small room in New Jersey. In the 1960s, Armstrong became a recognizable tire brand and ranked among the fifth largest tire company in the world.
Later, the brand was bought by Pirelli, and in 2012 it was on the verge of being completely withdrawn from the market. It was then that ZAFCO decided to take over and thoroughly rebuild Armstrong. Over the past five years, ZAFCO has worked tirelessly to restore one of America's most reliable and respected tire brands and upgrade them to a premium product offering.
