Basics of diesel and petrol engine maintenance for beginner mechanics

The training is intended for new employees of car service stations who will deal with cars with diesel and petrol engines . During the training, participants will be given basic knowledge about engine service. The training will consist of 50% of the practical part during which the participant will have the opportunity to perform basic service activities related to the D engine. Great emphasis will be placed on working according to the assembly procedures included in the ESI tronic program (special tools, tightening torques, etc.) in order to develop the right habits necessary for good work.

Common Rail System:

• Installation and coding of injectors using KTS.
• Installing the high pressure pump.
• Checking faults using KTS.

• High pressure injectors – control concept, diagnostics, assembly/disassembly.
• Intake system: air guides – construction, purpose, control concept, emergency mode.
• Engine operating modes – types of mixtures, methods of their implementation, system behavior, emergency modes, diagnostics.
• Exhaust system – exhaust gas treatment: exhaust system construction, variants.
