Championship competition of future mechanics under the patronage of Autos

Poznań Motor Show 2024 is undoubtedly one of the most important automotive events in Poland, attracting four-wheel enthusiasts and industry professionals. For our company, however, it was primarily an opportunity to support once again the 13th finals of the National Mechanics Championship, which gathered young mechanics adepts from several hundred schools across the country.

The struggle of young talents

The Mechanics' Championship is an event addressed mainly to students of automotive schools, which aims not only to compete, but above all to educate and develop practical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for young mechanics students and others to test their skills in real conditions, which is an invaluable value at the beginning of their professional path. Participants can face practical tasks that prepare them for future work in the dynamically changing automotive world. All event partners prepared competitions for a total of 9 categories, including this year:

  • Young Mechanic
  • Young Agricultural Machinery Mechanic
  • Young Motorcycle Mechanic
  • Electromobile
  • Young Truck Mechanic
  • Young Painter
  • Young detailer
  • Young LPG installer
  • Professional Mechanic

The championship competitions were demanding and focused on key skills necessary at work. Our specialists prepared tasks such as compressor head assembly, checking the ability to correctly read the diagram and use dedicated tools. All these challenges were faced with the fierce enthusiasm of the participants, who demonstrated not only excellent skills but also great determination.

Support and development of young mechanics

As patron of the truck-focused competition, we were proud to watch participants compete for titles in nine categories, from Young Mechanic to Young Motorcycle Mechanic. The championship is the presence of various partners - all related to the automotive industry - including suppliers of spare parts and tools, as well as equipment manufacturers. Each partner had the opportunity to present their products and services, which was not only a promotion, but also a tangible educational value for young people. As an Autos company, we had the opportunity not only to present our offer, but above all to share knowledge and experience, which is crucial for our customers and partners. Additionally, an extremely important element is making young people aware that they can use the knowledge acquired at school to develop their careers on many levels - from the workshop to product management or technical consulting, e.g. as sales advisors, e.g. in our network.

Our company could be found not only in the Championship zone, but also in hall no. 6, where the Kamena Rally Team, with which we have been cooperating for several years, had its impressive, almost 700-meter zone. There you could see a full range of unusual vehicles that you would not normally find on the street. On the first day of the fair, the premiere of their new rally car took place, with which they will start this year's season in May.

Building the future

The mechanical education offered by car schools is the foundation on which young people can build their careers. At Autos, many of our employees started their journey with such education, which allowed them to develop and achieve success in various areas of our company's activities. Engaging in educational events like the Mechanics' Championship is crucial to supporting future generations who will soon be strengthening the labor market. This not only enables building the company's image as a promoter of education, but also contributes to the development of the entire sector. Through such initiatives, we can contribute to the education of well-prepared technical staff who will approach professional challenges with passion and competence.

We are looking forward to the next edition of the Mechanics' Championship. To sum up, our presence at this event was not only an opportunity to celebrate the talents of young mechanics, but also to confirm our commitment to the development of the automotive industry.
