What should you know when installing additional lighting on your car and you want to use it on public roads?
Due to the season and the need for additional lighting, truck users and owners are willing to invest in additional headlights that improve everyday work such as transporting goods during long-distance transport, loading and unloading or cleaning work on the roads. Additional lighting can be installed on the vehicle, but in order to use it on public roads, the lamps must have appropriate approvals. The requirements in this regard and the method of mounting the lights are regulated by the provisions of the UN/ECE regulations. They specify the number and arrangement of lights in the car, both mandatory and optional. If the guidelines contained therein have been followed during assembly, the lights can be used on public roads. For road lamps it is the letter "R".
